I'd like to lower my brake pedal a bit more. Right now it is at the point where the brake lights still work properly (goes on and off), I still have a couple of more twists before it the bolt bottoms out but when I go into that lowest range, my brake light is always on.

I've seen several posts saying there are instructions for adjusting the brake light but I sure can't find them.

If anyone can tell me which screw/bolt adjusts the brake light switch or point me to a post I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks!

The bolt that you're adjusting can be cut if you're bottomed out, I cut mine so the pedal would go a bit further. The light adjusting part is that threaded black plastic cylinder with a plastic nut and a silver spring. If you've got a Gen II with cruise it's really important the switch is adjusted right.

I lowered my rear brake pedal on my Gen 2.

First ride after I had no cruise control!

The cruise control goes off when you brake but its actually controlled by the brake light switch.

So if you have a Gen 2 check the cruise after you've adjusted the brake lever and/or the switch
