...anywhere. Between the last ride and this weekend's ride I think I have enough camera angles figured out to entertain myself for a while. Now I just need my schedule and the weather to come together long enough for me to get more than just a few miles from home. Is it spring yet? Sorry snowbound guys, I realize you have little tolerance for my impatience. Honestly my schedule has been more of an issue so far this year.

That should be enough different angles to make an interesting video when I finally go some place interesting.

Sorry. I don't know how you do it.

It's actually been a great winter here from my perspective. Unusually warm. I've just had too many other obligations get in the way of a decent trip.

::026:: Know what you mean about life getting in the way of what's important!

And the video stuff looks pretty cool. Do you have something in front of the camera for gravel & sticks being thrown up? Even a flat piece of clear plexi from Home Depot would do. Like the music and editing!

Couple of things to notice and ask from the video. Great to see the tire response for both traction control and when in ABS. First good videos I've seen of the actual action, not from a distance. Any idea whether the TCS was in 1 or 2? Did you have it on during the occasions when the front wheel came up?

Hi Bob. No, I don't have anything protecting the lens. Everyone talks about how strong the lens is, but I am a little concerned. Right now the plan is not to have it facing forward if rocks and sticks are likely to get thrown at it. The new camera in the lineup has a replaceable lens, but it does not appear to fit this one.

The first video of camera angles was mostly shot with TCS off. All the spinning and little wheelies were no TCS. In the second video posted in this tread the bike was on TCS2. Still had a little wheelie, but that was off a hump in the road. The last two segments of video you could see the spin TCS2 allows. First from under the bike, I was not pushing it super hard on that section, but it probably would not have given me much more. The last where I do a drive by towards the camera was the max spin I could get out of the bike in TCS2. The rear was spinning the whole way, but not easy to pickup from that angle, and bike was very in control with TCS2.

Umm, southern WV is just around the bend and doable in a weekend Dirt Dad. I just happen to know a guy on a Tenere who would like to tag along.

When I have the time southern WV is a favorite area of mine. You've already proven you know more secret roads down there than me. I'm not sure who will be tagging along with who, but I suspect I'll be looking to steal some secrets at some point this year.

Very awesome! I am glad some have the patience to put this kind of stuff together. I have played around with slideshows of still pics, I like the results but it takes me forever to get the drive to tackle another project....

Anyways....keep 'em coming! ::001::
