Adding accessories today and pulled loose the vent and canister hose. Can someone please tell me which hose goes to which tank nipple on the bottom of the tank. I think the canister hose goes on the right nipple for overflow and vent hose on the left but I am not sure. I am assuming left and right from the perspective of being seated on the bike.

Thanks

According to the diagram on page 7-1 of the Yamaha Service Manual, the right side outlet (as you sit on the bike and look down at the tank) goes to the overflow hose. The left side nipple connects to breather hose (this may be the 'canister' you refer to?).

Racer is correct. The right side hose, (as sitting on the bike), goes strait down and out, over flow hose. The left hose goes to the CA charcoal canister.

Shown here also in the parts fische. LINK

I was just looking at this in reference to another thread.
