I know much has been said before surrounding this subject but kits are constantly improving..

What do you use or recommend
MotoPumps Mini Pro. There are others as you say, but this one is the best. JMHO

Look into a tire product called "Ride On". It is a tire sealant & balancer. My powersport guy recommended it so, going to give it a try. It has gotten good reviews. I will still take my Dyna Plug kit & pump with me as back up.

Good old fashion sticky string and rubber cement. Cheap compressor on it's own fused lead which is also for the winter trickle charger.

snooty plugs.
The kit cost $7 cdn at the local autostore. works a treat, dead easy to use
We used two snots to plug a large rock puncture in a metzeler the other day. Still holding. Tire is shot, but is holding air for the time being.

Slime pump for a compressor, and I carry spare air cartridges, just in case.
Yup, these are what I use, I like the red / reddish colored ones best, I also carry a small "Slime" brand motorsports compressor. I have had poor luck / results with the gimmicky Stop 'n' Go and Dyna Plug products.

thanks guys, done my research and the Moto pumps mini pro seems to be the best but at $94.00 shipped its a bit pricey for me, so I've gone for the Slime compressor and plugs ::008::

I was a long time Stop N Go user but switched to Dyna Plugs last year. Both are great systems but I prefer the Dyna Plug now. I also keep a couple old school string and internal patch along with vulcanized glue just in case. My record is five puncture flats in a single day (3 front and 2 rear)...deserts can be tough on tires.

I use the Dyna Plug system. works very well.

I could never get enough push to get my dyna plug to go in. Like there was not enough to hold on to, had 2 other riders try before we used a reg old plug from Auto Zone.

Save your money. Used it for years. Finally got fed up when wheeling my bike out to take a ride and found the tire nearly flat. Located the nail, grabbed a pair of pliers, pulled the nail out and was rewarded with a face full of Ride On, then a completely flat tire. I felt a little guilty, but sold the remainder of my case of Ride On on ebay and never looked back.

Sticky rope and rubber cement is all I need 99% of the time. If it's so bad I can't fix it with that, then the tire is trashed.

Stop'n go is by far the easiest kit I have ever used. I use it on the cars and have 100% faith in the plugs as permanent repairs based on my experience and thousands of km's
