Very excited........New Blue '14 will be here Sat or Monday...

I would like some recommendations on a few items.

Best Value on a skid plate that is also easy to remove to change oil.

Best value crash bars and any pro or cons.

This is a super forum...

Thanks

Steve

I bought the Yamaha cases with the $1200 accessories from Yamaha. I read that they are also giving $1200 for the 2014 as well now.

A few questions!

How did you find a blue 2014?
What do you think of it?
Is it worth the extreme effort to locate one?

I am finding it near impossible to find one at a reasonable distance....

Thanks!

Hi Steve. There is a plethora of viable options for the Super Tenere. When I purchased mine last year, I went with the Givi skid plate and Givi crash bars. The skid plate is quite easy to remove and put back in place. As to the efficacy of the crash bars, I fortunately have not yet put them to the test, but I can say that there is enough of a gap between them and the side panels that removing the side panels is not too much of a production.
Have fun with your new ride! ::008::
