Let the farkling begin!

I had the Fenda Extenda ( Pyramid Plastics?) on my first Tenere, but see that Puig also offers one. Other than price (about $10 more for the Puig) is there anything significantly different between the two?

TIA

Rod

$13 difference at Revzilla.

Glad you posted about this. I have 11,000 miles and haven't installed one of these and my Tenere shows it. Something to do and I will go with the less expensive and something I have previously used. Now to find the least expensive.

The Puig was not an option before, so the decision to go with the Fenda Extenda was simple! I just thought I would ask for input in case the Puig was THAT much better!, ::025::

A number of us have sworn off the extenders, as it doesn't take a lot for them to get caught on the skid plate, breaking the front fender and locking up the steering. Or broken when packed with mud.

It's safer to make a small abrasion shield sticking up from the skid plate. If you do use an extender, the abrasion shield is still a good idea, so the extender doesn't hook the edge of the skid plate.

I thought of the same thing but... haven't heard much since the 2012 Tenere.

I doubt the Extender would get caught on a ACD or RideOnAdv skidplate.

I'll probably wait a bit on this, unless I get some really good input on one over the other.

Besides, my CC is already smoking from al the other farkles I've bought in the last 3 days!!!!!!! ::)
