I am 6'1", used to be 6'2" but years of squats takes it toll :( I just purchased the Puig Touring screen for my '14. I have a couple hundred miles on it now. I run it in the middle position so I can see over the top and the wind management is very good, no buffeting up to about 70mph, then a slight slow speed waffle at times. If I put it all the way up, I would look through it, but great wind protection. I am very pleased with the quality of the screen and how it works especially for $125. I really like how it works for me.

Thanks for your inputs .... with such a nice price .... I guess I will buy one and try it out on my 6'3" 290 lbs frame.

Will report back on how it works for me
I'm 6'5" and I have the Puig. It's 7" taller than the standard. I have mine on the 2nd notch above the bottom so I can see over it. I'm long legged with a 37" inseam. It's great, along with the winglets, I get no buffeting at all and with my top vent open on the helmet, I get air going through. Not so much on the chin vent though which can be an issue on humid days. I got the clear because I ride early in the morning and go through a lot of valleys so the sun isn't up and over the hills yet. Here is a pic of the difference. Have fun!

Received and installed the light gray Puig Touring Shield on my 2014 S10.

NOTE: Install was tight and I had to pull and push to get the holes aligned between the shield and the OEM mount. Tightness seems to put a lot of load on the OEM adjustment bracket and so far have not played with it enough to ensure the new Puig shield will raise and lower with the OEM mount with ease ... will report back with test ride and adjustment ease.

Photos of label, paper work, and as installed.

"Wow, stock screen are worthless!"

No, no, no! Cut 3" off the top and it's a great summer shield! Clean air on helmet but relieves the pressure on torso.

Just need a tall shield for long trips and hyway use. Preferably level with your nose to get the wind over your helmet. ::001::

I agree, I bought a used stock screen for $12 and did exactly that, and have a tall Calsci.

Thats where I got mine. Mine installed very nicely without any issues and raises and lowers without any problems.

I'm 6ft3 and got this screen before a 3020 mile trip to Morocco and back. Very happy with it. I found that on the lowest screen height I would look over the top of the screen and still get little wind, on the highest setting I'd look through the screen with almost no wind.

TEST

Puig Touring Windscreen (New)
Lowest, Highest, Down 1 from Highest
10 - 15 miles

RESULTS

First best protection for interstate is highest setting

After trying many shield this shield is one of the best for straight on wind protection. Noise is lower and turbulence is lower than most if not all windscreens I have tested.
(See other posts by me for more details)

Side wind is a little worse than the Madstad Largest Windscreen as is the overall wind protection.

Strongly suggest you check it out

NEXT TEST IS THE RUSSIAN TOP ADJUSTABLE VENT....

Using the Russian Top Adjustable Windscreen ... for about 50 miles at speeds up to 95 mph ...

- With the Puig in the highest setting it blocks too much of the road at my height. If I was a few inches more it would be fine ... say 6'5" or more would work

- The still air pocket is very narrow with the smaller width Russian Screen compared with the Puig ... About 1/2 to 2/3 reduction ... The Russian screen does provide still air for me

- With the Puig screen one down one level from highest the Russian vent does not block much of my vision ... however the brackets are a distraction to vision ... I may get used to it ...

I am not sure if it (Russian Vent) add a lot of value for me. (As I have to lower the Puig screen to use it)

Will ride for a few weeks and report back.
