I respectfully request no pics of bare ends. Take that to advrider please. Lol

SilverBullet.... Im not real clear on why you are advising me to carry this to ADVrider. I got all info from this site originally.. jus wasn't clear due to pics being removed.
Please I'm not trying to be a butt about this, I would hope if this sit or a inmate feels like i would have better luck on ADVrider, please let me know on a PM and not highjack my discussion.
Time is very important here..
Thanks..

Sorry you missed the joke. You misspelled and stated "bare ends" which translates to "naked butts" That's why I said no pics please. Not trying to hijack your thread, just one too many beers tonight and thought the joke would be real clear. Stay here, you'll get a serious answer and maybe a G rated photo soon.

I think he may be yanking your chain. Check your spelling "BARE" ends. I personally would rather see pictures of bare ends especially if they are connected to nice legs and have nice tits, vs bar ends.

Gen1 does not have threaded bar-end weights. The MSR expanding fastener will work fine.

I didn't realize he had a Gen1. Dan sent me a PM a few days ago, but I hadn't had an opportunity to respond to him. My bike is a 2014 Gen2 Dan. So you may be better off using an expanding plug rather than a tap.

That clears up why you threaded the bar ends.
Hey, Thanks for all your help.
I've ordered 2 different sizes of those expanding things
for the proTaper bars.
12mm 14mm

Ok I have finished the bar swap and I am very pleased with the new bars.
I jus want to give thanks to Defekticon...
For the first gen model I had to use the 14mm bar end inserts.
Not sure if Tapatalk will let me post some pics.
