This is my Black Stallion on the Strines, between the Stockbridge bypass and the Ladybower, ready for the CMC meet ( hopefully I won't be working ).

I could be up for this although it is 100 miles for me to get there. Isn't Chesterfield ooooop north, rather than midlands?
:)

Errrr think Chesterfieldians or whatever there called can still claim to be Midlanders I thinks. CMC is a decent bike shop to gather with the Peak District as a beautiful backdrop beckoning for a little excursion maybe... :)

CMC is actually Clay Cross Poohbear, probably 45 minutes for me so maybe 1 hour 20 from say Castle Bromwich area of Brum if that helps. If you want to meet up sat at Lichfield & ride up from there then no problem.

Well I'm up for it. I've been looking for a pick of my bike, but they're not up to much. I have to stop to take pics and I only usually stop at the end.
My bike is like Dels, but I have a pelican type case as a top box and engine bars.

I'm 6 miles from CMC and Saturdays are best.

If the weathers something like on Saturday 28 March I'm up for a CMC run, my next available Saturday will be 25 April. Why do work and holidays always get in the way of bike fun?

I'm up at the HUBB meeting at Haggs Bank on 28th, If that's the date most folk are happy with I'll have to defer to the next one.

there is every likelihood that I will be at CCMc on Saturday 4th April with my chums from the TDM forum. Don't know what time yet, if anyone else's plans match that we can discuss timings later.

Right then Easter is nearly upon us....so how about lets get something solid ref day & Time.

Sat 4th April say 12.30 - 1pm ??

If there are still some guys coming up from the lower half of the Midlands and want to meet up south of CMC as previously posted how about meeting at McDonalds Wall just south of Lichfield & about 200 yds from the A5/A38/Aldridge junction?? If anyone still want too then meet here at 11.00 & I will lead up to CMC, let me know either way or I will just go direct to CMC.

Budgie, I know your Leicestershire drop me a message if you want to meet up or go direct. If we meet at Wall I will probably go via Cubley, Hulland Ward, via the twisties, definetly not via A38 (snooze rd)

Stu, CMC is Chesterfield Motorcycles at Clay Cross. Approxiamately 6 miles South of Chesterfield on the A61. They have a reasonable car park and a cafe inside for you long haulers to get a refil. There's a Tesco fuel station on the roundabout immediately before you'd get to CMC ( about 200 yds).

I'm out and about most Saturdays, even this weekend in the wind and rain. gotto getthe bike washed somehow !
