It is no longer on the PDP. I had a whopping 2 bikes allocated to me one in September and one in March! From what I understand, we sold more S10's than any other dealer. I am guessing that they have allocated the bikes that were either cancelled or the remaining units that YMUS had to commit to purchase from Yamaha Motor Japan from the original release. I have not spoken with any other dealers to see what they were allocated, but I imagine there are a lot of dealers that were not allocated any at all. Pretty dissapointing............

Even with your large sales record during the PDP, the small allocation does not come as a big surprise, assuming these are ONLY the unsold PDP units that are being allocated. I'm sure when the REAL next production run is authorized, your allocation will be much larger.

Hmmm, that's too bad. I might have picked one up next spring if they we're more readily available. Guess i'll have to wait for 2013-maybe they'll be offering the white color to the US market by then. Or....maybe I'll be doing a fly and ride to TX in march. 8)

+1! we were in the Kerville area a few years ago in early April. It is beautiful there, the wife and I want to go again. If you do go, stop in Medina and have the apple flavored soft serve ice cream, it rocks! Another good place is Cooper's BBQ in Llano. Plus there are some fun roads to ride like the Three Twisted Sisters.

Don't know for sure what is going on. The fact that they are giving me a bike in September, which is right now, and then the next in March is puzzling. I have talked to another dealer that sold quite a few as well and he got exactly the same in the same months. I doesn't make any sense to me to allocate bikes in March and then offer the PDP. When would they deliver those? I can only theorize that they will offer another order period in Jan/Feb for APR/May/Jun deliveries just like the rest of the line.

They could possibly offer another shot of the PDP, but I don't know how that would work with bikes already scheduled for delivery in future months. In the past when bikes became available through the standard order programs, the PDP was done! Since I don't know which months they are offering them to other dealers it is just a guess at this point.

There will be delaers that won't take any of the bikes offered, so we will always ask for additional units and generally get them within reason. I just don't see there being a lot of the '12 models going to be available. With the price increase and the lack of availability those that got one of the early bikes really got a deal. It will be a sellers market next year.............

I agree. Having this bike available "on the floor" and for immediate order/delivery is the best thing that can happen. There are folks out there that will not order site unseen. Besides, everybody likes immediate gratification. Sometime next Spring I hope to either watch the Tiger ride away with a new owner on top, or ride in to the dealer on it and out on a Tenere. Less to worry about when you're not waiting months for the order to arrive.

Montgomeryville has 2 Blue in stock, one is their demo bike and the other is new and waiting for a new owner. I say ride up there and give it a good home!

Well it seems that the units they are offering to dealers now are like I suspected. There are very few and most of the dealers around me that I know have said they did not get one allocated at all. The rep tells me they will be available for us to order on the next order period which is in March. These bikes will be APR/MAY/JUNE deliveries. There is no word on how many will be available and we won't know until March.

Those that want a bike before next Spring, I would suggest grabbing one that is available. The few that are out there and the next few that are coming to the dealers even at the higher price will not be enough to satify demand in my opinion.

I have someone wanting my demo when I get back from my ride next week, but I don't know if I can let it go considering I can't get another until next Spring and it will cost me more to replace the same exact bike. I guess I have a couple of weeks to decide.
