Based on the size chart on Revzilla's website a 46 comes out to a US size of a 12. That would typically be my size but you mention they did not fit you? What boot size do you typically use? Were these to big or small?

I'm also a size 12 shoe and boot but my foot is remarkably wide. EEEE footwear may or may not fit me. I gambled on these with an online purchase. They went on my feet perfectly fine but not comfortably and I don't think they would break-in enough to be comfortable. A friend who has just regular wide feet, not ridiculous wide like mine, says he loves his Forma Adventure low boots.Terminus said:
