Pretty Amazing Motocross Woman

I caught a quick blurb about her on the news at lunch today, and looked her up on the web.

Ashley Fiolek, a totally deaf champion motocross rider. Very interesting story. Interesting in how one one hand being deaf makes it harder to do things such as know when to shift the bike, but on the other hand blocks out all the noise distraction during racing.

Since that article, she’s tied down two more WMA Championships, including last summer.

Quite a remarkable young lady.
