It sounds like a PC V might be needed to correct the fueling issues of my California version XT. I was wondering if anyone has seen maps available for USA bikes yet. I have been in touch with some of our fellow owners in Europe with PC V setups but have been told that we can't use those maps due to variations in our fuel from Europe.

Hopefully Dynojet will have a stock baseline map and a few for slip-on and filter maps for the USA bikes.

Has anyone got any idea on this yet?

I'm wondering whether the PC V Autotune module will work on the S10. Can't see why not, and it avoids the need for finding a map or a dynotune, I think.

Anyone know for sure?

I just picked mine up today. With only 50 miles on the odometer, the throttle response at low rpm is reminiscent of my Buell 1125R. In other words, it may benefit greatly from tuning.

Can anyone say with certainty if the PCV will interact correctly with both Touring and Sport maps?

you can download as many maps as you want off the internet but nothings going to work like gettin a custom map done for your bike, im not a big lover of the auto tunes either since they cost a packet to buy and are a pain to install (or very expensive) get friendly with your local dyno guy and talk to him about mapping your bike, the last time i had a custom map done (by Huey at Marrietta motor sports in Atlanta awesome people) on a GS1200 it has extra ponies over stock with all my mods (full remus, big air intake, blue filter) but the before and after were greatly different, i got more top end AND mid range plus better fuel economy (not that i was looking for that)

again you cant beat a map built just for your bike generics a great start but there's always more to be had, i took the GS back with an extra 12000 miles on it for another mapping and it didn't need anything still ran perfectly from 0 to the red line!

always ran great!
