I am glad to see your shield, I just cut my stock shield down by 4" and it solved my problem. I am 6'4" and have a very tall torso so I set really high in the saddle. In cool weather I have to have a very tall windscreen for me not to get head buffeting and a very loud wind roar in my helmet. Same with the stock not short enough. Today I was frustrated to the point I didn't care so I took my madstad bracket off set my stock screen on low and them marked it and cut off 4 inches. Finally clean air on my helmet and the wind while reduced hits me high on the chest and directly on my face and the roar is gone. I have my summer shield. How is yours working?
Is there any other tall guys out there with the same issues?

I am loving this screen! I am 6'2", and I wear a speed and strength dual sport helmet with a mx style sun visor. So the over the screen wind and buffeting was no fun! Powerbronze has a U.S. distributor now so you don't need to order from England. They had this up on their ebay store for $80. There was a light tint too if you don't like the dark smoke like I have.So if you don't like the shield you cut, I strongly suggest ya give this one a shot.

I'm 6' 5" and have always preferred smaller screens to 'tombstones' for improving the airflow and reducing the noise to tolerable levels
on the last three bikes I've owned.

I took about 2.5 inches off the top of the stock screen and gave it a try....close but not quite. So off with another 1.5 inches and
it makes all the difference. I would certainly recommend the Powerbronze or MRA shorty if you don't have the means or desire to
cut up the stock one. Stock screens are pretty cheap.

I wear a Schuberth C2 with custom molded earplugs.

Has anyone compared the PowerBronze to the CalSci offering?

I have the Calsci, and it was significantly more expensive. The Powerbronze looks a bit shorter (that would be better).

The Calsci is a very tough windscreen and the quality is high. How is the Powerbrozne quality?

Your bike looks very nicely set up.

I like the tinted shorties and I have the Calsci shorty. I'm 6'5" and prefer the shorty in the summer months for max air w/o buffeting.

POWERBRONZE SPORT SHORTY WINDSCREEN

Make one yourself, it's a piece of pis*. This design is all wrong anyway for a short screen. You need to change the airflow from turbulent to laminar. Have a look at any moto gp bike.

It works fine, and I think it looks good too. When I require sport bike aerodynamics I try this cool thing called...getting on my sport bike. It works great! There are 16 bikes listed that you've owned, and I don't find a sport bike in there.
