I have read about rusing spokes on the Tenere. Would it be bad idea to remove them all and have it powder coated ??

Might be a nice winter project.

If the powder coating is too thick, the spoke might not fit through the hole in the rim.
As they are a mild steel, galvanizing, or zinc passivating might be a better option.

Ys , You might be right. I´m gonna look better into it. I think it might be very nice if possible to powder coat the spokes. White ??. Golden like the front forks,,,, .

Why not remove the tires, properly torque the spokes, and then have them bead blasted and powder coated as an assembly?

You could also use duracoat, ceracoat or any of the extreme duty weapon finishes. I have the duracoat kit and have duracoated guns, knives, tools, and several parts for the bike. It is basically just an extremely durable paint and is very easy to use. It comes in a multitude of colors and is very easy to touch up or reapply as needed. This would be a very good "do it yourself" type of option for us. Just a thought.
