That has to be the all time pack-mule KING to reach that summit. 2-up, none the less.

Yea, I have lots of Tenere heroes. Some amazing folks chose this same Beast to travel the continents. Speaks volumes!

This is absolutely insane reading the mileage on this bike. I am super pumped to own this bike I just got. I do work full time and winter is just finishing up here. I do have 550 km on it and hope I can log 15000Km before our season is done here which can sometimes be as early as late September.

Keep em coming I hope to one day meet the Gent with 150000 Miles on his bike to hear about his stories. Just unreal...

Ride safe everyone.

I enjoy reading of high mile motorcycles. Of course we all love the Super Tenere, and it has proved more than capable of huge miles. My hat is off to all the high mile guys.

A mere 53+k Four rear rims and still popping two spokes. :-\ I can say I don't come close to loading my bike with as much as I have seen and with two up such as OldGitray and Helen. I ride solo packing around 75 pounds of gear. :-[
For the life of me breaking two spokes at every third tire change is got me scratching my head.

I am amazed at the high mileage people have done. I am embarrassed to report 15,000 miles on my 2012. I do have 4 other bikes I split my limited riding time on. I do love my bike and feel great to hear the high mileage it can go.

It's very confidence inspiring to hear of all these high mileages without engine trouble. I've had similar experiences with Honda STs. My old ST1100 went 150,000+ miles but suffered a burnt exhaust valve at 88K. Clearance was good, just one of those things. I fixed it and carried on. My current ST1300 has done 150,000+ with no engine mechanical issues at all, though it now suffers from an intractable misfire that's electrical in nature, so only gets ridden when I'm testing my latest theory to fix it. I was hoping the Hondas had not spoiled me for other bikes with respect to durability and reliability so it's heartening to expect similar service from my Super Tenere.

I am a mere piker at 58,561 miles. I am however a big fella, load the beast up and pound it for weeks on end. Did an IBA 50CC last year in 105 plus degree temps. I just finished a major service on it and found nothing to replace beyond consumables. Someday I hope to be in the league of Steve and some of the other guys, but I had my best year ever at a touch over 16k miles last year and still spent a ton of time on other family stuff. This is one hell of a motorcycle.
