Hey S10 Experts,
Issue with my ’12 Super Ten with 84K miles.
Just finished a valve check and upon restart attempt I get nothing….cranks strong but no start and I’ve got a “60” error on the dash (Throttle body).
Using my Yam shop manual, I’ve checked ohm readings on everything I can (Stepper motor, TPS and other items and all good, fuses good, battery fully charge, good connections etc).
One test is to use 2 “C” batteries (1.5v ea) to apply 3 volts to the stepper motor connection…. Butterflies do open just a little and then close when I switch the pos/neg connections. Should they fully open?
Also, with key ON and with engine cranking, should the throttle butterflies open when I open the throttle? Mine are not doing anything during engine cranking and I’m getting nothing more than a few pops from the engine… even with starting fluid. I’m really out of answers on this and bike ran fine before this.
Regards,
Mr. BR
