Found some info:

http://www.powerfrk.com/

http://www.powerfrkusa.net/

Would like to see the Dyno charts of gears 1,2,3 and 4 before deciding on this.

When you look at the dyno charts on their website the advantage is very slim. Could all well be the contribution of the aftermarket airfilter alone.

After reading some more, I'm even less impressed. ::007::

My guess is no. The ECU flash gets rid of power restriction that is programmed into the ride by wire system. Similar to but not the same as a Power Commander this gadget looks like it will add fuel only.

This thing is hooked up to the airintake thermometer. It is only a resistor so the ECU thinks it is colder so the ECU adds fuel. All it does is make the bike run a bit richer. You can read all about it in many forums. Some folks make their own for the price of two connectors and a resistor US$ 15,- in total.

Will this do the same as the ECU reflash.
Or the same principle as the Suzuki and others Timing retard Eliminater?
To me it looks to accomplish as much as the "Power Commander" does, e.g. changes the air fuel mixtures. The ECU reflash doesn't do that, instead it changes the fly by wire throttle body restrictions applied (particularly) in the lower gears. So, in summary they are completely different and will not achieve the same as a ECU reflash.

That is a ripoff. We did the same thing on the Tiger 1050 forum with a resistor for about 25 cents. All it does is change the air temp to the ECU to be much colder so it will richen the mixture. Total waste of money for that or the resistors.
