I noticed a couple of threads that mentioned that they had water leaks on certain brands of panniers. I might suggest any of the spray on rubber coatings on the inside of the boxes. I used the brand "Rust-Oleum" rubber coating, spraying/coating the entire interior of the pannier, which I believe makes it waterproof on the seams and rivets. Doesn't do anything for the lids, eliminates any leak anywhere else. Might even protect the items you put inside. Just sayin. ::021::
