First off we met Tabasco at the Cass Work Center this morning. It was nice to finally meet him and even better to spend all day riding with him. He performed Admirably on the Mill Creek Blue Loop on a fully loaded Super Ten! Eemsreno and son were our guides for the Blue Loop and these are three brilliant riders!

Re: Pig Trail Wallow Day 1

Just got home a little while ago. Had a great time with Jaxon and James. James is a great host. He cooked the best baby back ribs I ever had.
When we picked Jaxon up we headed right for the Millcreek trails. Everyone was a great trail rider and the trails were dust free.
Eric had a huge black bear in front of him at one time when he was leading, and James had a black bear in front of him on the road right near White Rock Camp.
I have lots of pictures, but not enough sleep so I will only put a few up tonight. Lots more to come.

Start of the Mill Creek

Ask Jaxon about this one

Nice pictures James, I wish we could have stayed another day but Eric is getting married this Sept. and had to see his girl. [you remember how that was when we were young]
Back at Mill Creek, James and Jaxon rode for an hour or so with us then cut out on a jeep trail back to civilization. Eric and I wanted to finish riding the whole blue loop.

Then we came up on a narly down hill section.
Eric rode the whole blue loop totally unassisted but I had him spot me on this 10 foot section.

After we left Mill Creek we went for a swim in the Mulberry river then James had told us of a road called Warloop that supposedly only one big adventure bike has ever went up.We couldn't resist seeing what that was so we rode over to the start of Warloop road.

Forgive me but I did not get any pictures going up Warloop, We went through it so fast I kept thinking there must be more to come. I've taken Michelle up tougher stuff than that.

This is from White Rock camp.

Then on the way home Eric and I stopped by to see Brutus, That would be BIG BRUTUS!

Thanks for reading and next time I hope to see more of you Tenere riders there, And thank you James for putting this on.

Looks like y'all had a lot of fun. Wish I could have made it. Guess I'll be happy here in Green River Wyoming . Headed to Yellowstone on the Gold Wing. I'm sure passing a bunch of Tenere roads though.

It's was certainly a good time had by all. Absolutely the most fun I've had riding the bike. Made it through some ATV Trails on the Blue Loop with only one small drop. Steve and Eric knew the Blue Loop well and guided us through it. Both are brilliant riders. Tabasco rode his fully loaded through a little over an hour on the Blue Loop! He's a brilliant rider as well. Mike came up on Saturday and has spent a lot of time riding roads with me finding Vistas, etc. Mike raced National Enduro up til around 2009.

This ride really changed my perception of the Super Tenere. Inside is a heart that has the power to do what you want off road. No question about the power. It's got ample suspension and with the right protection and tires can take you places that you would have never thought of when you first purchased the bike. Simply incredible.

Looks like an absolute blast! I'll have to make it up there for the next one.

Based on the pictures, I think I'll need to be practicing off-road until then...

Actually as long as you didn't do the Blue Loop at the Mill Creek ATV Trails you would be fine with very little gravel road experience and even stock tires. Mill Creek you want to be fully armored and have some Kenda Big Blocks, TKC 80's or Heidi K60's at a minimum.
But the rest of the rides were "Big Bike Friendly" > by that I mean a stock bike with stock tires would have little to no problems handling these roads. Steve and Eric liked to get into the more technical riding with the bike and they are both simply brilliant riders. However, most of the rides that I lined up were good gravel roads going to nice places to eat or beautiful vistas. Tabasco and I were on K60's, I think Flying W was on Battlewings and we were fine.
I'll be riding this summer with Mike doing some "exploring" ( and we get into some places that will make you shake your head doing that) over the summer and do a Fall Colors Tour in mid to late October. It will be a blast.

Nice report photos and Vid's. ::008::

Looks like you all had a good time and did some tough stuff in Millcreek.

Millcreek is a very challenging place for a big bike. Not easy, even on a KLR. :) A lot of the stuff they have is for rock crawlers and not much in the way of trails for larger DS or adventure bikes.
Great roads in AR and after reading this report I hate I missed this one.
