Look forward to a drop in your free time and disposable income. Both will reduce considerably, after buying this bike. ::)

You'll be using up all of your 'spare' hours riding to interesting places, usually via the scenic route, which somehow become further away as the months pass.

The modifications part of the forum is entitled "oil up your pocketbook". It's not a joke. You will most likely spend money on this bike to make it your own.

Ask nearly everyone here how we know. :))

I never got an owners manual with mine, whats the big deal ?? I am the second owner.
I believe the post was a for a new bike, not used. And yes, it's a huge deal if buying new and there is no manual. Many times dealers will say, they will get you one and don't deliver. I've had it happen. I've also have told dealers I'm walking without one. It goes with the bike and it's important.

Run in as per manual but don't molly coddle it. You need sufficient throttle to seat the rings and lots of throttle shut engine breaking to clear the bores.
Use T mode to start with if you are not used to sensitive fuel injected throttles.
Other than that, just ride and enjoy. :)

All good comments thus far. Owners Manual.....walk if they don't provide it...or at least threaten too.

The three locks under the seat as mentioned.

Tire pressure. My bike was a little low after I checked when I got home.

....and, make sure the black plastic seat adjuster is under the seat! I actually saw a new one without it. Very important option and a must to have.

Good luck!
Thanks Timlaw. The pm you sent me on your deal was a big help.
I ended up doing a one bike deal, my brother wasn't ready. I
got a great deal anyway. All items you mentioned were with
the bike, owners manual too. On my way home, stopped for
a break. Looking forward to breaking it in this weekend.
Thanks to all for the tips!
