I've been dragging my feet adding auxiliary lighting to my Super Tenere, trying to decide which lights, which mounts, where to mount the lights, etc. I'd looked at the Denalli D4, but kept coming back to the PIAA LP 530 (73720 kit for Super Tenere). The deal-maker was when I saw Spoiled Biker had them for under $280! They come with the PIAA brackets that mount the lights directly below the headlamps, but I want the triangle of light that you get with them set outside of the fairing. So, ordered the Denali Super Tenere-specific mount from Twisted Throttle, as well as the Denali angled single-switch mounting plate for the switch as I already have my heated grip controls mounted on the left side of the handlebars (more on this later).
I will say here that this would normally be a two-hour project for most people, but I took my time and made it a several night (4 to be exact) project. Not because of issues, but because I enjoyed spending my evenings in the garage on this project.
