Penske 8983 shock-SOLD

I have for sale a very good Penske shock for your Super Tenere. This unit was part of the group buy, so we got a little discount from the current selling price of $875 listed by Penske on their ebay site. I paid less as part of the group buy. This has ride height adjustment, plus preload, rebound damping and compression damping adjustment. It is a significant upgrade from the OEM shock. I got it July and have between 2500-3000 miles on it.

I would sell this to a forum member for $600 plus shipping. You won't find a better shock for anywhere near this price.

For clarification, the spring on this is the one listed for rider weight with gear of 190-225 pounds. Springs are very easy to change on the Penske shocks, if someone needed another rate.

Also to answer questions of why I am wanting to sell is that I have put a deposit down for one of the 10 Ohlins fork cartridge kits that Tabasco is working on and I thought that I would like to have the same brand front and back, so would be buying an Ohlins shock to match the forks. Not a very cost effective way for me to upgrade, but that's the story of my life.
