I installed the 24"Parabellum today........a bit tough to mount, but once installed in the high posistion there is no contact with the turn signals or handguards (with 1" risers installed). I rode the bike 20 miles and it was significantly quieter/less turbulent than the stock screen/Touratech windshield extender installed. I had minor buffeting on the top of my helmet with it being quite windy today. I'm 6"4" with a 35" inseam......I tried the Touratech extender on the Parabellum......totally quiet, but in the line of sight and annoying.

The finish (as others have noted) is great and this shield should be just the thing for me.

I installed mine last night. Being 6-5, I decided to get a 26" version. The difference between the stock windshield and the Parabellum is unbelievable. I tried it only up to 75mph so far and did not get any buffeting and minimal wind noise. It seems that the engine sound gets amplified with this shield which is a good thing especially with the stock exhaust. It does not bother me that handelbars hit it when in lock position. The only bad thing is that the amber light from the flashers causes an edge-lit effect especially noticeable at night. It looks like the perimeter of the shield glows in amber color. I wrapped my flashers with electric tape, leaving just the front face of the lens exposed and it cured the problem. I can't wait to test the shield on a longer trip.

Hi everyone. Im 6'2 with 34 inseam and am keen to go for the 26 PB. ( i like the look of the v stream but it sounds like PB is better. ) am I correct ? Everybody talks about wasps adjuster??? Where do I find one and is it ideal for PB? Can i have a gps bracket on this Wasp adjuster that takes a 255 nuvi? About the touching bars. Very easy to cut the screen out with a di grinder at half air pressure and a sanding bit. Apply little pressure otherwise the sandpaper heats up and tears. That will wreck your screen. Then buffed with a dremel tool or similar. If you scratch your screen, you can also buff out pretty nasty deep scratches with the right buff compound and time. You can bring a screen back to factory... I practiced on a piece of perspex. I admit I havent worked with parabellum yet. I will have to contact them and see if they ship to Australia.

I've had both screens and like them both. The V-stream has a hard coating that really works. As far as blocking wind, I think It's a toss up.
For disclosure, I have always use a bracket. Either Wasp's or the Madstadd. I feel that helps a lot.

Shoot Greg(wasp) a PM. I'm not sure, but I think he quit making them, although he may have one laying around.
I never had a problem with touching the bars, because of the adjuster and have always used bar backs.
