I been playing with a GoPro this weekend. Here is my first video.

Not professional by any means and I can't figure out how to embed it in the post.
Anyone know how?

Cali has many negatives....cost of living, high taxes, tough business environment, really extreme green activist {not hating on being green, but cali can be REALLY excessive} but there are rewards...great riding weather year round, and some beautiful back country. Palomar is a great ride, front and back sides. The ride up TO the Palomar cut off is a nice ride. I just wish those great stretches of road were a bit longer at times and less traffic.

We should hook up for a ride one of these days Carl.

allamerican - Thanks for the suggestion. I can do the link part, what I want is to have the YouTube player window embedded. I can do it on ADV, can't seem to do it here.

kmac - I'm sure our paths will cross. I've been wanting to do north Main Divide. Haven't ridden that in years.

thanks for the trip up memory lane, tubebender!

It has been too long since I rode south grade. Have you taken the S10 up Nate Harrison Grade Road to Palomar?

I used to live in a cabin if you take the driveway to the the left at 8:15 in the video.
the linked twisties near 5:00 was always my favorite section.

Cheers!

Nate Harrison Grade was the first dirt the bike ever saw! It's actually my prefered way to go up.
Also ridden to the 'real' Palomar Mtn using Palomar Divide and High Point Rds.
