Painting OEM Panniers

I am thinking of giving my OEM aluminum panniers a new look. Has anyone painted their panniers black like the other OEM color option? Are they flat black or glossy finish?
Any suggestions and thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Your imagination is the only limiting factor. I've seen bed liner used in multiple colors. I've seen rattle can spray wrap in multiple colors and the anodized look. And some just ordinary spray paint. You could match them to a skid plate or crash bars too.
