I just installed the Oxford Heated grips on my 2012. I Installed the pins in the factory connector. However if I mount the controller to the left side the harness is not long enough to reach the factory connector. I will have to move the controller to the right side. Has anyone encountered this with the Oxford Adventure grips?

I didn't have any issues with my 2013 for length of leads. I mounted mine on the Lh mirror base. I did not use the factory connection and went directly to a key on power source at my battery connection.

I went to an auxiliary fuse block, no issues to the left mirror stock. Add more wire maybe?

I had the controller on my left rear view mirror also, with no problems. Mine was connected to a relay that was located where the tool kit is on the right side.
