One week up on the Bruce Peninsula and Manitoulin

I took a weeks vacation up in Southampton, Ontario and spent my time mountain biking and taking the Tenere around some back roads and trails. I found lots of places to go but I was pushing my luck spending so much time away from everyone back at the cottage. I didn't have a lot of time to take pictures but here are few I liked. I loved taking the bike down whatever I felt like. I do want to upgrade the tires so I can a little more adventurous.

These are the pictures from a one day run around Manitoulin Island. It was 370 km on the island plus the ride there and back for a total of 620 km for the day. It was 4 hours of down time for the ferry crossings plus a hike on the Cup and Saucer trail which is the highest point on the island. The falls are Bridal Veil falls. The lighthouse is on the farthest western tip of the island which is also where the shorline picture was taken. It was an awesome day!

Great stuff 10éréRider! Beautiful country up there. Diving Tobermoray and paddling Kilarney kept me going there for decades.
