CopperDrive™, exclusively by the Scientists of Lighting at Baja Designs, enables our lights to shine brighter, run harder, cool faster, and live longer. BDs CopperDrive™ boards paired with a thermal gap pad transfers heat efficiently and ensures brightness and longevity – a technology that makes BD one of the only companies that can safely run high powered LEDs at full power and brightness.

I'm running a pair of BD Squadron lights on my bike and I am continually impressed with their brightness. In bright sunshine I can illuminate reflective road signs at maybe 200 yards. Incredible. They save my butt on a daily basis commuting in rush hour traffic. Only problem is they are blinding at night for oncoming vehicles. I do have the dimmer kit, but find I never use it...just turn them off for oncoming vehicles. Had them in the deep woods at night in WV a few weeks ago...Daylight, absolute daylight. Your wiring diagrams leave a lot to be desired though....try using established schematic symbols like n.o., n.c. contacts and coil...spent about an hour figuring out what you were trying to say in the directions...

Agreed...the lights are positively incredible and very high quality. The instructions are poor at best and look like a xerox copy of a copy of copy that had been faxed and then copied. Twice.

I have my squadrons mounted under the headlights, but angled down a bit so they are just inside the headlight throw, but manage to spread enough spillover light to help while on the asphalt with oncoming traffic. Nobody has flashed me for being too bright. For off-road I angle them up a bit and they illuminate to the horizon. Great lights.

Thanks for the support and constructive criticism its really appreciated. Was it the adventure bike instructions that were to vague?

Thanks

Yes, my comment was for the instructions in the adventure bike kit. They just didn't inspire confidence by the way they looked and the way they were written. If you are dropping that much coin on a set of lights then I would expect the instruction sheets to be of similar quality to the product itself. Just generally vague and the pictures were poor. Luckily, I am pretty good with electrical configurations and I actually deviated from how BD suggests to run the wiring, relay and switch. My option was to run everything independent of the stock wiring.

Anyhow, I hope my comments weren't too harsh, previously. I am VERY happy with the quality of the lights!
