Second posting in here, but I'm a short half hour from getting a ride down to Des Moines to pick up my S10!

Getting my gear on sure does get one excited. Mid 70's with a south wind should make my northward trip back home pretty enjoyable.

Going to try my best to tool on some quiet side roads for 10-15 miles after I get it warmed up to facilitate break-in as best as I can early on before the 25 mile stretch of highway back home.

Anyway - wish me luck. Can't wait to sit in the saddle!

Welcome, Karson!

I pesonally prescibe to the 'ride it like you stole it' philosophy for the most part. Not all out thrashing, but as long as you avoid 'prolonged operation' in the upper RPMs, per the book, you should be OK.
