Currently down to 5 bikes (anyone interested in one of my 98 VTR1000F or 2k HD Sporty XL1200S?) so I have room for a Super-T?
My fastest red 15 FJ-09 bought new in 16 is just waiting for me to check the valves (again) and button it up.
Can't find a good pic of my fastest red 76 RD400C (also bought new) is also waiting for me to finish porting one cylinder. It seized up at a Road America track day probably a dozen years ago.
I raced TD2s in 73 and stopped endurance racing my CB900F in 83.
Probably 6 or 700k miles on the street; never kept track (pun).
Oh, and it was a 6-volt dry cell battery in the tail of my 61 Matchless.

Looking for input on most desirable year and if ES can be relatively easily improved.

Currently educating myself on all years.

Anyone have a Super T for sale within 200 miles of Chicago? Saw none listed here. Did they make a year in Fastest Red?

Welcome, from Texas. There was guy around here that took one of those 2-stroke motors and put it in a mid-80's Ninja 600 chassis. He said it was bolt-up with almost zero fabrication. The fairing even fit the motor. The right-side case cover that has KAWASAKI engraved into it matched up with the fairing openings. The block engraving is what first caught my attention. Then I noticed that the 2-stroke cans. It was quite odd to see the modern (-ish) bike with that "old" sound of a pissed off bumble bee.

Wadsworth is in Lake County IL up close to the WI border not far from Big Mich.

I'm in Crook County even closer to the lake. Everything north of Chicago within 15 miles of the lake is referred to as the Northshore. Very affluent but not my Ranch house :-(
Skokie's sales tax is 12.25% !!! But Skokie's property taxes have not been raised in like 30 years.
