Just wanted to do a short intro, 55 y/o lifetime rider. Lost count of how many bikes I've had over the years, but well over 50. I joined this forum because I recently bought an S10, and am in the process of doing my own decat, and sending the ECU to be flashed. Seemed to be a lot of good information shared by members here.

As far as the S10 goes, I've overlooked it a thousand times. Bought it because it was just one of those bikes that made me curious.

Currently have a Tiger 800XC, Tenere 700, Versys 1k, KLX300, & the Super Tenere.

I forgot to add that I fell in love with the S10 as soon as I got it rolling.

Didn't expect it, still a bit in shock really, but very pleasantly surprised. There is an x-factor charm about that beastly thing. As I stated before, I've had many bikes over the years, got a shop full now. One thing that has proven to be true for me over time is you can read about any given bike, look at reviews until you're blue in the face, even chat with owners about every last detail of their machine. But a good testing ride will either win you over, or make you say "meh"....I don't get it lol.

I didn't expect to like the S10, but not only do I like it, I love it.

Awesome. I'm still waiting for the arrow headers. For some reason, I thought i had to get those before flashing the ecu, but that's not right. I need to yank mine and send it soon too. I have too many other things on the list above it. But it'll happen in February. My winter is a bit longer than yours.

Welcome from metro Seattle and congrats on the new (to you) Tenere!

Since they're only a short drive away for me, I was going to suggest 2WDW. Beat me to it! They did my Tenere four years ago and I'm still pleased with the results. Next Wednesday I'm having them flash my C14 to unlock a few more ponies. THAT should be fun!
