Being pure petroleum, it probably should not hurt unless the weather is cold out. And that brings up why I wouldn't use it in the first place.
The only way to do the things claimed is to increase the viscosity number, meaning you are simply adding a thicker oil than what is called for, and there is no reason to do that in a water cooled engine. An air cooled engine like a Harley (which is what it is targeted at) has MUCH looser tolerances and that is why they have heat, oil break down, and wear issues.
Simply stick with the recommended oil types and use the right viscosity for the temperature outside.
