Oil Filter Prices - UK

I just paid £18.83 for an OEM oil filter…….what are other UK members paying? This seemed a lot to me.

Thats about right at the mo for a oem one, i bought 3 for £30 off a guy last yr on ebay as they were only a £10 so i stocked up

I use these - £10.09 currently. HiFlo HF204s are cheaper, but they feel light and weedy compared with the Mahle oc575 or Mann MW64.

I think OEM are £15 from fowlers now. But I wouldn’t use anything else. If you cut them open, the non OEM filters are completely different including the number of pleats, the way the paper element is joined together and who know what the relief valve is set to.

I have always used HiFlo oil and air filters on all my bikes for many years without problem. Normally just over £8 for the Tenere oil filter HF204 or HF204RC with the drilled nut

Yeah maybe they do the job just as well or maybe you’ve just been lucky. Who knows? But they aren’t the same as OEM
