Oil dripping from K&N oil filter

Morning
I have changed oil and filter 2000 miles ago .
I recently realize that i had some oil stain under the bike .
i clean up and turn on engine and i realize that the oil is coming fro the bottom of the oil filter . i tight up following the instructions.
What else can i do ?

I would replace that filter, preferably with a non-K&N brand. They have had a couple of different leaking problems with their oil filters. In another case they had a batch that leaked where the welded-on hex is at the top. Evidently the welding process burned all the way through the can. Makes me think they don't have any kind of quality check on pressure integrity in their production process. Not good.

Check the technical discussion forum. Lots of threads have been moved so you have to go to page 14 to see the thread on K&N filters. On page 13 there is a thread on leaking oil filters. Good info.
