OEM Topbox Question

A waiter here...already ordered the OEM topbox. Does it fit directly to the OEM rack or is there a separate mounting kit?

Asking because I'll be getting a one way ride to pick up the bike and ride home so want to make sure I have everything to mount the top box at the dealer.

The OEM top box mounts to the black plastic directly underneath the luggage rack. Just unscrew the rack en presto...you're good to go!

terrysig, I put a photo of that ^^ black plastic base over in the mods database when I did my altrider rack...if it's any help. Click, scroll down and you'll see it.

Yes big help. since i basically flying in to ride home i have to make sure everything including the top plate fits into the top box for the ride home.from the pic it looks like it will.
