With my panniers sorted, I'm wondering if anyone has a clean OEM top box that they'd like to part company with

No. But, I have a Touratech Rapid Trap top case with mount. Top case is keyed.

Planned on posting it for sale this week so hit me up if interested.

Pull my profile and check my posts/topics to see it.

Wow, I'm impressed with everything you have done to the bike. Let me know how much you are asking for the top box, PM is fine if you'd rather do it that way

Firefight911...curious why are you parting ways with the TT topbox? I have the TT side cases and the OEM topbox and thought I'd got TT topbox someday as well.

Only reason is that I just don't use it. It was almost always empty on my epic 28 state, 8300 mile last year, I don't use the bike for two up anymore (passenger pegs are now off as are the grab rails), and I have gone to the AltRider mount with my Rotopax mount. Bed roll, sleeping bag, chair, and pad all go across the rear platform area. Camp stove, clothes and everything else easily fit in to the side cases (TT Zega Pro 31 and 38 liter). Just don't use it at all.

Even when I don't need the storage space I find my top box invaluable for stashing my helmet, glove and sometimes my tank bag when I go into a store. Couldn't get by without mine...

That is true. That's pretty much what I used it for the whole time. That and taking a second helmet with me to Death Valley so I could get all dirty, stinky, sweaty, and gross in one and ride home in another.

I just wanted to send a shout out to terrysig. He sold me his top case at a fantastic price, he even shipped it before my check was in his hand. Now some folks might call that foolish, but we had a fairly good dialogue going and I think trust among forum members is a valuable trait. In the short time that I have been on this forum, I've developed a huge respect for the folks I've dealt with. Thank you, I know I'm going to really enjoy my new bike, and I think I'm going to make some great new friends too
