Good photo Jeff.

I don't ride 2up and have removed the grab rails from both of my Tenere's. I found they get in the way of securing dry bags and anything else. Plus it looks better without them.

Poop! Looks like top and bottom case mounts are situated correctly on my bike; I only have a crummy old beater phone camera but I'll try and do some photo reconnaissance tomorrow when I can get things out in better light; maybe someone can spot what's amiss with my rear end OEM bag lashup... Thanks for your picture WJ!

Hoak,

You made me curious enough to put my bags on. It turns out that both of mine slope slightly downhill towards the left, and the left bag slightly more so than the right. I could not see any different way of mounting that would make them straight other than actually bending the brackets.

Yup, same here, and I've seen this on several other Super Ténérés -- it's a conundrum. Not a big deal, but perhaps putting some rubber washers between the bottom bracket and it's mount; which is what I'd rather try first as the mount is heavy gauge metal and I think I'm as likely to go too far the wrong way as make any improvement.

hoak, Mine does it too. I thought it was because I laid it down on that side once. I always figured I'd bent the bottom bracket. Now I wonder if it was always like this and I hadn't noticed. If you figure out a solution let me know. It's such a small thing that only I notice, but I do.

Well I finally took picturds of my left mount; here's the side on shot, and it does make it pretty clear these are 'sided' L/R only:

And it does appear I have it on the correct side... I also took a top down shot, you can see the front of the rail is closer to the bike then the rear -- again I assume this is how it should be... Or is it?
