OEM Exhaust Headers replacement…

Replacing my exhaust headers today with new OEM set…anyone out there have any install directions/ YouTube links on how to do this? Should be straightforward but just wanna make sure there is something I need to not miss, must do, don’t forget, etc…..thanks in advance. Have a great day !

Make sure you mark up the O2 sensors. You may want to disconnect the wires so as not to twist them when undoing the sensors. Take note of the routing.

Here's what I've got from my 2nd gen service manual. I've annotated the screenshots in red to show the page sequence. I hope the info helps.

It's not a difficult job to do at all. If there's any rust on the header bolts soak them in a release spray of some sort and take your time.

If you are likely to service your bike yourself I would remove the main swing arm bolt and put it in from the other side, you can't remove it with the headers on, when it comes to servicing the swing arm bearings it makes lide a whole lot easier.
