OEM Accessories Back-ordered?

I ordered the OEM side cases and heated grips, but dealer told me last week they're back-ordered. He put in the order this past Monday (8/1/11). Can anyone confirm or dispute this? I'm heading to the Beartooth Beemer rally in Montana Aug. 18th, but no side-cases, no Super Ten for that trip. Thanks in advance for any info you can offer...

On a side note, should be fun to bring the Supa Ten to an (almost) all BMW rally; this will be my 3rd time there and they seem like a good group of guys, but I have to admit I'm very interested to see their reaction to the bike. ???

I ordered the side cases and racks on the 26th of July. They were in in two days. Ordered The wind deflectors Thursday, Expect them tomarrow. Now if only I had a bike to put them on. Thats a whole nother thread.

John, when you are composing your PM, there's a checkbox at the bottom of the PM screen that you have to check, if you want your sent message saved. By default it doesn't save a copy.

I thought I should mention that I did order the side cases from Tony (lotecredneck) this A.M. I called my dealer to have him cancel my back-ordered ones and he told me they were no longer back-ordered and had already shipped. I called Tony back and asked him if it would be ok to cancel my order with him and he was very cool about it and said it was no problem. Anyways, thought I'd give a shout-out about Tony and my dealings with him. Good guy for sure. Thanks again Tony!
