Have you seen this apps for reading car and engine numbers, using the OBD2 via a bluethooh adaptor?

Any use for the motorcycles?

It can be used for motorcycles that use obd2. However I'm pretty sure the super tenere doesn't use it :(

to my knowledge bikes don't conform to a standard protocol like cars do with ODB II. so in short, no use for a bike.

I can use it for my Triumph Sprint, played with it a bit, but didn't really find it useful. The OBD2 on that bike seems to be missing many of the functions that are in a car.
