So, I am looking for the pin lay-out for the OBD2 connector (under the seat or behind the fairing) of a Gen-1 S10.

Help?
the connector under the seat is not a diagnostic port, it is an abs test connector, with the following pin configuration

There's two plugs by the tool kit for optional accessories; the 4-pin white is for the heated grip kit while the 3-pin is for the fog lamp kit. I would say most of the members here have used the 3-pin to power an aux fuse block for accessories, since one line is constant hot, fused at 20amps, one is switched hot (for triggering a relay) and the other is ground.
Excuse my ignorance, but what are the wire colours for the 3-pin plug and which wire Is constant hot, which is switched hot and which is ground?

I don't remember the colors, but if you don't have a multimeter, with a 12v lamp and 2 wires you can find the +,- and the switched +

Ok, Understood.
So, no OBD2 port for the Gen-1, 2013? Also not the one with 3 pins behind the fairing?
Gen 1 don,t have obd2 port. Diagnosing and clearing faults is done using the fabulous button system on the dashboard. The 3 pin Plug, which has the Gen 1, also has the Gen2 and Gen 3….and it is in principle for the same original Yamaha accessory, the Yamaha Fogs lights…
