FWIW, I highly recommend that you give Motul 4T 7100 10W-40 full synth a try. It is a bit pricey but it holds up well especially in the brutal stop-n-go traffic (which degrades oil quickly) I am exposed to on a regular basis. This oil meets or exceeds all the necessary motorcycle ratings/specs and benefits wet clutches. I have also found that this oil lessens the farm machinery feel of the S10’s transmission.
This oil also seems to help my engine temps run “cooler” especially when the oil is relatively fresh.
Lastly, I really like the crimson color of the oil.
