Re: FS: 2012 Super Tenere blue Shreveport, La area

You've got a nice bike, and should have no problems selling it. What do you plan on next?

Re: FS: 2012 Super Tenere blue Shreveport, La area

Thankyou. I am planning on testing the HyperStrada, then NTX, maybe TEX. The bottom line, is we need to beat or delay the Multi12 2013 till I hear some more reports from owners. My wife loves the Multi12, and couldn't believe I sold the 2010. Problem for me is the tank range, VERY hard to work on, and then there is the will power thing to try and keep my license.

The Hyperstrada looks a little small for two up riding. Or does your wife ride her own? I had to look up the NTX, since most refer to it as the Stelvio. Nice that they moved to the 8.5 gal tank. Looks pretty comparable to the Super Ten. Different vibe to it, the early ones felt more cramped to me, but I haven't sat on one since then. No idea what you're referring to as the TEX though.

You're not just bored with the Super Ten because it just rides, are you? ;) Have fun choosing the next bike.

Re: FS: 2012 Super Tenere blue Shreveport, La area

EricV, yeah, boring! LOL I'm sure I will miss the Super Tenere, know it like the back of my hand, and very comfortable on or offroad with it. The TEX is the slang for Triumph Explorer. If I stay true to my wishing, next bike will be the Multistrada 1200, but the cheap side of me says no way are you going to spend 20 big ones for a stoopid bike!

The HyperStrada can do light 2up, but yes, my wife rides her own bike. Usually goes 2up with a camera when we get to destination though.

Rem, don't make me have second thoughts.

Test ride on the HyperStrada is first, and if it works, would allow me to keep the Super Tenere, maybe.

OK, that's it, mister. I was gonna whip down there next weekend for coffee, but NOT NOW !!!!!

Hey, very best of luck, old son. Whatever you end up with, I sure hope we get to make contact again some day. Keep us posted, and ride safely. All the best. R ::008::
