Was working fine. Installed oxilam led and only right side works. Tested power and bulb. No power at connector. 2017 model.
common problem? Easiest point to test without removing headlight bucket?

I looked at the wiring diagram in the FSM for some time last April. If one is on they both should be on. Do you have a FSM? If not I could take some pics.

Did you *test* both sides with the same meter / same time and conditions? Swap known good bulb from good side to bad?
I don't think any Gen 2 had wiring chaffing issues / recalls.
Interesting.

Hope this helps you. The wire paths that are not grayed out are the applicable wires for the lighting system. Lower left item 91 is the headlight assembly. Shows the plug. That plug is located on the right side tucked behind the headlight through an opening in the frame and resides top right under the right top panel. (See below post that has a link to a picture) I'd start there and see if you have pwr and then proceed as necessary. Item 94 is the headlight relay. That had me confused for a bit when I was adding lights. You have a wire powered up there until the bike is running then it down powers and thst allows the lights to turn on when the bike is running. It comes/goes to the ECU. I believe it is the yellow one from memory. Don't let thst confuse you. I'd have the bike running while doing diagnostics as thst is the state you want the relay in.

Are you testing for power with the engine running? The headlights don’t come on until the starter button has been cycled.

looks like I will be digging through the loom to find molex connectors for testing. Doesn't appear to be an enjoyable task
The 12 and 13 bikes had a sub harness recall for the headlights……the dealer let me do the install and it was not very involved or time consuming. Just FYI as I know you have a 2nd Gen bike and doubt that the harness is much different …..if at all.
