Nipples

Hi,
I've lost a nipple - From my rear wheel.
Just got back from a ride & noticed a clinking sound putting the bike back in the garage. Spoke dangling - Nipple gone.
I don't suppose anyone has any rear wheel nipples available for the XT12000?
I don't want to spend £100 to buy a full set of spokes, just for one nipple.
Where's Scaramanga when you need him? :)
Kind regards,
Monty.

Zip ties are your friend.

There are some forum members selling spokes, presumably with nipples, in the For Sale section of this forum.

It's in the post.

Not had a chance to get away this year and not looking likely with a house move coming up. But the ST is a surprisingly good London commuter and it's grown on me a lot in the last six months.

Best wishes

Jon

Bike all sorted now.
Spokes all torqued up 6nm front and rear. Well the rear wheel anyway. The rear was not too bad to get to with torque wrench & long allen key attachment, but I found the fronts trickier.
Knowing that the rear spokes were tightened to 6nm with a torque wrench, so getting a feel for it, I listened to the ping sound and was confident enough to tighten the fronts by ear. Not many needed doing on the front. On the rear though, about 50% needed tightening, none more than 1/4 turn, but still more than I expected. I bought a torque wrench set from 'wriggle.co.uk' - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/x-tools-essential-torque-wrench-set/ - (So that I wouldn't crack my mudguard when I put my fender extender on) It did a nice job on the spokes using the long 5mm allen key supplied. Money well spent. (No I don't work for 'wiggle')

Thanks everybody :)
