Nice FREE Campsite in Arkansas

We were RV camping at Lake Ouachita, West of Hot Springs, AR last week and while exploring the NF, I found a nice little FREE campground south of Mt. Ida, AR. that would be great for tent camping.

It's maintained by the local county parks department and has nice grass campsites with lots of shade and a small creek running next to it.

I have been in the Ouachita NF every year since 1974. There's tons of free camping out there.

I've never been to this one. Looks nice and clean!

I found several places along route 270 to camp. I had a local tell me, that they didn't enforce at the pay sites.

Disregard that POS motorcycle in the picture. I had problems with it on my 5000 mile ride, and was glad to get rid of it.
