Hi, I'm Brian from northern NSW, Australia. I bought a new you beaut blue s10 last October and absolutely love it.
I've had a couple of beemers but sold my Suzuki 650 for the Yam. I really sympathise with you in USA who have to wait, but it will be worth the wait.
As my name suggests I am a farmer, but in a previous life was an auto electrician so I really appreciate fine machinery,not fancy machinery, but practical user friendly.
I look forward to sharing with you on this thread.

Hello and welcome Brian. Always nice to have someone else around who actually has one so we can live through you for the next 6 months. I would love to hear you comparisons on the S10 and the DL-650 (I assume it was a Strom that you had). Any input is welcome.

Greetings from a S10 "waiter" in the USA, Brian. I'm having a difficult time waiting til May.

I have relatives in NSW, Griffith area and I visited them in 1996 and loved it.

Yeah it sounds like that swagger, but you know what I mean.
I think it is the best at its job for what it was designed for, and that means better than the more publisized GS.
I havent started to tell you yet how well designed the braking system is, or the luggage system, or the lighting, or the................youve got to have some mystery !!!!!
