Hello,
Just picked up my Black Tenere today. This is kinda like going back to my roots, been riding for 40 years, first bike was a '65 Triumph 500 Trophy. Looking for an Electronic Copy of the shop manual, did a search of the site but did not come up with much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Later,
Norm

Welcome on, Norm the Wanderer. Excellent color choice. You are a man of outstanding taste and acumen. Regarding the shop manual, if you're referring to the Service Manual, the Forum sort of kicked this around a while back and we decided that it would be unethical for one person to buy a copy and then distribute it free of charge to the rest. It's kind of like an author having his book passed around for free. Some of us sure wanted to do that initially, so can't blame you for asking. But we felt it wasn't the thing to do, and also there could be some liability issues involved. It's an understandable request, but this Forum has decided against it. No worries.

Please feel free to ask any technical questions you wish. There will be someone here who can answer just about anything.

Good luck, and welcome aboard. R

Hi,
Me again. I wasn't looking for a freebie. When I bought by Concours 14 I bought one on line. A quick down load and I had it. When there was a job to be done I jus printed out the pages I needed. That way the "manual" never could get oily, torn or lost.

Norm

My mistake and my apologies, Norm. It was late and I'm old. Just goes to show you how my mind works. Looks like Colorider has you fixed up. Again, sorry to have jumped to the wrong conclusion. Good luck with finding one. R

I know you can get an old school paper one from Yamaha, I've never asked if they could do a .pdf but maybe they could.

If you order a hard copy make sure the binding is good. I'm on my second one and both fell apart within 10 minutes. Yamaha has been good and they are working on a fix / replacement at this time.

FYI, just because someone is selling a online version doesn't mean it is legit. Most of the Japanese mfgs sell only paper copies to end users - the electronic versions have been illegally copied.
