Hi I am new to the forum. I have a 2014 Tenere which I bought new in March 2015. We just came back from a 6.5 month trip to Alaska and back to Mexico City. The bike was pretty much flawless and still looks and runs great. It now has 61,000 kms of which 45,000 kms was on this trip
Only complaints are several blown headlight bulbs and rapid rear brake pad wear.
If any of you come through Mexico City we can put you up and show you around if we are in town.

::004:: from Oklahoma. Sounds like a great trip. Wish I could take half a year off and go riding.

Welcome
You really know how to do a trip. 45,000km in one trip is awesome. Did you ride through Iowa? You may not have noticed, :D

Hi Gary. I love traveling in Mexico and may take you up on your offer. However I usually avoid big cities.

Mexico City is a great city to visit. I normally meet people outside the city and guide them in. We won't be back in the city until around March as we are visiting my daughter in Playa del Carmen
